Each year our President nominates a Charity of personal choice and all money raised
goes into the fund. On the occasion of our Annual Ball representatives from the chosen
charity are invited along to receive a cheque. An average of £1200 is raised annually
and past charities that have benefited include Hinchingbrooke Stroke Association,
the Alzheimer’s Society Huntingdon, Macmillan Woodlands Centre Appeal, MAGPAS, Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation and in years April 2018 and 2019, the total sum of £2100
was donated to the Friends of Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
